Terms & Conditions

Here are our General Terms and Conditions for project development

Understanding and Defining Scope of Work:

At Nextdebug, we believe in clear and transparent technical development scopes. For promising projects, we’re happy to have multiple sessions via Skype, video, or email to ensure we grasp the full scope of work. The more information we have from you, the better we can execute projects successfully. Ideally, we need designs for all pages and detailed technical specifications for customization. Once we have a clear understanding, we’ll present our interpretation to you. Anything beyond the presented statement of work will be considered a Change Request, and we’ll strictly adhere to the agreed-upon list of tasks. Please note that we focus solely on technical website development and do not include front-end concept design in our scope of work. We can convert PSD design files to HTML or create eCommerce or CMS website themes, but we require well-described PSD files.

Development Environment:

All development will occur on a staging server set up by Nextdebug. We’ll update you based on the milestones we’ve set, sharing links to our development server. Please provide feedback only when requested by our team. If you point out issues during development while our team is still working, those points may not be addressed unless they’re part of the agreed-upon scope, or they’ll be considered Change Requests and may incur additional charges. We request clients to cooperate and conduct a thorough review once we’ve completed all work, including testing.

Strict Adherence to Scope of Work:

Our team will strictly adhere to the mutually agreed-upon scope of work. Any changes in designs or functionality must be clarified upfront. We won’t address any issues based on assumptions, so we ask clients to provide a complete scope of work with 100% clarity in designs and functional specifications.

Project Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement:

Nextdebug ensures the confidentiality of all client information, including contact details and project information. Clients retain complete ownership of the projects we work on for them. We won’t contact any end customers without permission from our client.

Quality Control and Support for Bug Fixing:

Our team includes dedicated quality assurance personnel for functionality testing and design matching, depending on the scope of work. We generally test in IE9+, Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. If you require testing in specific devices or versions, we need to discuss this upfront or consider it a Change Request. We offer a two-month bug-fixing guarantee post-delivery and project sign-off. It’s the responsibility of Nextdebug to fix any issues or bugs within the scope of work reported within this period. We encourage clients to report all bugs or issues in a single, comprehensive list format to expedite the resolution process. Any bug fixes or maintenance support requested after the expiration of the warranty period will be considered chargeable work.

Communication and Response Time:

Our team prefers project-related discussions via email or Skype, with a dedicated project manager overseeing communication. If you prefer a project discussion meeting, please inform us in advance to ensure our full attention. We strive to respond to emails or Skype requests within one day, and the delivery of tasks depends on team availability. Timely replies to our queries from clients are crucial to avoid delays in project delivery.

Timeline and Delays:

We’ll provide a realistic timeline for development and avoid agreeing to unrealistic deadlines if our team isn’t confident in meeting them. Our commitment to meeting agreed-upon timelines depends on receiving all requested information, payments, and feedback on time. Any delays in project-related information or payments will result in project execution delays. We may also allocate our resources to other projects, impacting the urgency of attending to your requests.

Payment Terms:

Advance payments are required for all our projects before we commence development. The amount and payment schedule are based on the project’s size and complexity. For projects with payments split into multiple parts, payments must be cleared at each milestone as agreed. Failure to adhere to this may result in a halt to further project progress until payments are cleared.

We accept payments via PayPal or bank wire transfer to our Indian bank account, with all details provided in the invoice.

Receipt of Final Payments and Transfer of Code Files:

Clients must make payments on time as per the agreed-upon terms for us to start, continue, or complete development. We’ll only transfer code files upon mutual agreement and receipt of payments. If development is requested on the client’s server, we require 100% upfront payments and won’t transfer code without payment.
